For 30 years, The Peacock Playhouse in Hayesville, NC has been the center of community and cultural activity, providing quality entertainment to residents of Western North Carolina and North Georgia. Since its conception theatergoers have enjoyed 130 high quality performances at the Playhouse. These shows were written by America's finest playwrights and received critical acclaim when the appeared in New York. Today The Peacock Playhouse is the permanent home of the Licklog Players who perform six productions each year, presenting residents and visitors quality performances of drama, musicals and comedy. This popular theatrical group affords talented individuals the opportunity to be part of our active artistic community. The theater is under new management and will be adding to the perfomances.
